Who is responsible

What this site does not do

No analytics script, no cookies, no contact form, no accounts. Email goes straight to the address above and is handled like any other email.

Server logs

Every request passes through Cloudflare and then a reverse proxy (Traefik) on the server, r01. Both see the IP address, the browser's user agent and the full URL. The proxy's raw access log holds IP addresses and full URLs for about 15 hours and is then overwritten. The site itself does not store IP addresses or user agents.

The purpose is to run and secure the site. The legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR article 6(1)(f)).

Private CV links

A private CV link is an address made for one job application. It opens a copy of the CV tailored for that job. The address is random, is not listed anywhere and is not indexed by search engines, but it appears in the logs described above like any other address, so those logs hold it for the same time.

For each link the site stores the job it was made for, the CV copy, and when the link was created and expires. A link expires after 180 days unless it is set otherwise, and it can be closed earlier. Opening a link is not recorded.

Older CV links

The previous version of this site recorded a label and a time when an old /ref?cv= link was opened, with no IP address or browser details. Those records are kept. Such links now open the public CV and nothing is recorded.

Recipients

Cloudflare, as described under server logs. No data is sold or shared for marketing.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of personal data about you, and object to its use, by email to the address above. You can complain to Datatilsynet.
